| Filipino Businessmen has explored the investment opportunities in Vietnam |

4/25/2009 11:40:00 AM In October 7th, Vietrade and Phillipine Consulate General in HCM co-organized a seminar with the presence of Filipino Business mission to explore the investment market and corporation potential with Vietnamese Business. During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Viet Huy (Vietnam Industrial Parks Investment Promotion - VIIPIP representative) presented a general overview of Vietnam Economy in general and HCM city Economy in particular in recent years. Besides, he also answered all the questions and related regarding investment and investment laws in Vietnam. During the meeting, the Vietnam side revealed their high consideration on the bilateral cooperation between two countries. As known, the Filipino Bussiness mission was consisted of many businesses which consider to cooperate with Vietnamese businesses on some aspects such as package, textile, labor export services, electric cables, medical services, etc.
In recent years, the total capital invested by Filipino Businesses in Vietnam is still low. With the success of this seminar, Vietnam and Phillipines look forward to greater bilateral cooperation in all major aspects of trading and investing. |
