Enterprises from Aichi province expressed their wish to seek investment opportunities in Vietnam while Japanese enterprises operating in HCM City also asked the local authorities to iron out snags in the process of investment. Currently, Japan has around 1,100 valid investment projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of US$17.2 billion, making it become the largest foreign investor in the country.
