The award aims to honour and encourage FDI enterprises operating successfully in Vietnam, as well as outstanding Vietnamese enterprises investing directly in foreign markets. It will be granted every two years, with at least 100 prizes for both domestic and foreign enterprises.
More than 100 enterprises have registered for the event so far, according to the organizing board. Currently, there are around 100,000 valid foreign invested projects in Vietnam with total registered capital of US$150 billion.
A seminar themed “For a friendly and developed Vietnam” will be held as part of the event, aiming to assess Vietnam’s achievements three years after joining the World Trade Organisation and the contributions made by FDI enterprises to Vietnam’s international economic integration process.
The event is co-organised by Thien Ngan Media Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Association for Foreign Investment Enterprises under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
