Ho Chi Minh City on Monday (03 August 2009) announced it has 810 administrative procedures in force now, following a review conducted under Project 30, a governance reform initiative.

The project will formulate a master plan for simplifying administrative procedures.

Current administrative procedures include 638 that cover 50 different sectors at the district level. The property sector accounts for the largest number of procedures at 92. Ward and village levels procedures number 172 and cover 23 sectors, a city official said.

All the procedures will be posted on the websites of the city and district people’s committees for the public to peruse, said Le Hoai Trung, deputy director of the city’s Department of International Affairs.
