Mr Dung said that besides signing a number of agreements during the visit, he discussed with his Danish counterpart Lokke Rasmussen a host of measures to build the Vietnam-Denmark relationship into a Partnership for Development, with priority given to expanding economic, trade and investment ties. He asked the two business communities to increase cooperation in areas such as finance, credit, maritime transport, seaport construction, the development of environmentally-friendly technologies, information technology, agriculture, fisheries and beer production.
The PM witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Danish Industry. The President of the Confederation affirmed that representatives of more than 70 leading Danish companies will accompany Queen Margrethe II on a visit to Vietnam this November to further explore opportunities for investment and trade cooperation.
