Located on 10 hectares of Tien Son Industrial Zone, the center, comprised of a logistics center and inland container depot, is developed at a cost of VND380 billion to meet international standards for logistics and transportation functions. The center will serve various services including transport, warehouse, delivery and clearance to help reduce overloads on the seaport system and boost transport development in northern Vietnam.
The logistics center will be linked directly to Hanoi, Bac Ninh and Vinh Phuc provinces through national roads and Haiphong City’s seaport system via the National Road 5 and Quang Ninh Province via the National Road 18, said Nguyen Tran Hieu, director of Logistics-ICD Tien Son Project Development and Administration Center.
