| US company to launch mobile data centres in Vietnam | |
The US-based Dot VN, Inc. on January 6 said that it will cooperate with Elliptical Mobile Solutions, LLC (EMS) to sell mobile data centres for customers in different industries throughout Vietnam and Asia. The mobile data centres will be unveiled and may be placed at a major conference to be held on January 28 at the Vietnam Internet Network Information Centre (VNNIC) building in Hanoi. "EMS mobile data centres make sense for numerous industries, and have the ability to be upgraded, creating a vast and continuous revenue stream for our Company in both the near and long terms," said Dot VN CEO Thomas Johnson. In the meantime, Bill Stockwell, CEO of Elliptical Mobile Solutions, said EMS sought to form a strategic partnership with Dot VN due to their premier position in the Vietnamese marketplace and throughout Southeast Asia. He noted that energy-efficient, cost-effective and easily deployable data centres are the perfect solution for a rapidly growing economy like Vietnam. | |
