VN Trade in the EU and Belgium - Luxembourg on March 23th said that the Association of European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) has officially submitted to the Supreme Court in Europe claiming the EU to extend anti-dumping duty leather shoes imported from Vietnam (and both China) on March 19th.
FESI said that the 15 months extended dumping duty of the EU in December 2009 based on feedback surveys are not adequate and not true; also consider the results of this survey damaging to the Business activities and consumer rights in Europe when it comes to extra costs. According to FESI’s estimate, when applied in October 2006 to present, about 1 billion euros have been collected from the tax on dumping leather shoes.
