The export price of Vietnam’s 5% broken rice is currently hovering around US$370 per tonne, up US$30 compared to April, according to Pham Van Bay, vice president of the Vietnam Food Association (VFA). In the first four weeks of May, Vietnam exported 603,100 tonnes of rice, earning US$259 million. Total volume of exported rice reached almost 2.6 million tonnes, valued at US$1.18 billion. | |
