The Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), Tu Minh Thien, who is head of the organising board, said that the 300-stand fair will present Vietnam’s economic achievements and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
The products will be displayed separately such as processed food, agricultural materials, interior decor, garments, footwear, food and beverages, as well as tourism, hotel, finance and banking, securities and insurance services.
During the fair, there will be trade and tourism promotions, seminars to spotlight tourism services between Vietnam and Cambodia and to link Vietnamese and Cambodian distributors and producers, together with several fact finding tours of the financial, real estate, construction material and retail markets will also take place around Phnom Penh.
Over the past few years, bilateral trade relations between Vietnam and Cambodia have developed well and two-way trade turnover in the first three months of this year reached nearly US$500 million, up 130 percent compared to same period last year.
