The centre is part of the third phase of the “Multilateral Trade Assistance Project” funded by the European Union to improve capacity on trade policy for Vietnamese business associations.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the ETIC, President of the EuroCham Vietnam Alain Cany said that by bundling information in one place and provide them in both English and Vietnamese, the ETIC will help businesses better access the European markets and facilitate their trade with European partners.
The ETIC aims to establish a sustainable and accessible source of information about the European market. It serves as a European helpdesk that provides trade and EU market information for the Vietnam Business Association and its members, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.
The centre also functions as a library providing database from partners, including the European Union (EU), the International Finance and Macroeconomics (IFM) and Export Helpdesk.
