The agreement was signed in the presence of Truong Tan Sang, President, Vietnam and B Muthuraman, President, Confederation of Indian Industries. The Vietnamese President is on a state visit to India.
According to a release, subject to approval of respective governments, Jet Airways and Vietnam Airlines will jointly evaluate and implement services between India and Vietnam. This direct flight partnership between the leading airlines of Vietnam and India shall greatly contribute to the development of tourism as well as boosting the investment and trade relations between the two countries.
