The plant, worth nearly US $120 million, focuses on producing photocopiers, multifunctional equipment and printers for export. Its capacity is about two million products per year.
It is expected to be launched at the end of 2012 and come into operation at the end of 2013. The factory will attract around 700 workers.
The project shows Japanese investors’ growing investment in Hai Phong City. So far this year, the city has licensed a number of Japan-funded projects.
