Considered the largest and most established travel exhibition in Viet Nam, the expo will cover 5,000 sq.m at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7.
The three-day expo is a platform for inbound and outbound travel businesses in Viet Nam and the Mekong region.
This year, the expo is bigger than ever, with more regional and international exhibitors, and more sellers with a wider range of travel products and services.
The organisers told Viet Nam News that the expo would feature country and city pavilions such as Visit Berlin – Germany; Korea: Be Inspired; Wonderful Indonesia; Taiwan, the Heart of Asia; and Amazing Thailand.
Many conferences, including one for Tourism City Mayors in the Lower Mekong Subregion, will also be organised during the exhibition.
"ITE HCM City is a recognised platform for destinations and organisations from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond for promoting tourism and business exchange," said Ho Anh Tuan, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
More than 18,000 international, regional and local trade and public visitors are expected to attend.
The first two days of the exhibition will be open to trade visitors, with public visitors welcome to attend the event on September 14.
