The report also revealed that consumers in South East Asia continued to be among the most confident globally. By gaining 123 (up three percentage points versus the last quarter), Indonesians remain the second most confident consumers globally, after India with 129 points. The Philippines ranked third with a score of 115 points, down five percentage points, while Thailand retained its fifth with an index score of 114, up three percentage points.
Consumer confidence levels in Singapore remained optimistic with 100 points and Malaysian consumer confidence index increased to 94 points, up five percentage points from previous quarter.
