At an opening ceremony held at the Korea-Vietnam Incubator Park (KVIP) in Can Tho City, Kim Nam Doo, chairman of KRFA, said the rep office at KVIP would spur cooperation among food processors of the two nations.
The office is expected to create favorable conditions for KRFA member firms to do business in Vietnam as it is responsible for providing information about Vietnam’s market, distribution networks and foodstuffs for members.
KRFA also serves as a bridge to bolster trade cooperation among food enterprises of both sides.
Truong Quang Hoai Nam, vice chairman of Can Tho City, described the opening of KRFA’s rep office as an appropriate step because both countries have jointly developed KVIP to support innovation and assist agricultural processing and fish farming enterprises in the Mekong Delta region to add value.
