Deputy Transport Minister Ngo Thinh Duc has announced a plan to build a new highway to span Dau Giay in Dong Nai Province and Binh Thuan Province’s Phan Thiet.

The southern end of the six-lane highway will connect to another highway which will run from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai Province’s Long Thanh and end in Dau Giay.

The Ministry of Transport has assigned Vietnam Road Administration the task of ensuring the consulting agency completes the project proposal this month and submits it to the Ministry of Transport next month. The highway will be jointly financed by the government and the private sector.
