The passenger terminal is planned in the southern area of ​​the civil aircraft yard, with 2 elevations, a capacity of 1 million passengers / year, with reserve land to expand the planning for additional construction when needed.

For a cargo terminal, due to the low volume of freight in the first stage, when constructing a passenger terminal, the authorities will calculate and arrange a cargo handling space in the area. The passenger terminal, however, still reserves land for the construction of the cargo terminal as demand rises.

The plan also takes into account the air navigation assurance works as well as other technical infrastructure and service facilities. It is expected that the total amount needed to implement this plan is more than 8,000 billion VND.
