With the above number, Long An will be the 2nd locality (after Binh Duong) in the country in terms of the area of industrial parks, creating great conditions and opportunities to attract investment.
Binh Duong is currently the province with the largest industrial park area in the country with a total area of 12,721 hectares from 31 industrial parks, accounting for a quarter of the industrial park area in the whole South, 13% of the industrial park area of Vietnam.
Long An also planned 28 new industrial clusters with a total area of more than 1,800 hectares, bringing the total number of industrial clusters in the province to 72 clusters with a total area of nearly 4,000 hectares.

Currently, the whole province of Long An has 24 industrial parks eligible to receive investment with an industrial land area of nearly 4,300 hectares, the occupancy rate is 65.2%. The province also has 23 industrial clusters in operation, attracting 688 projects with a total leased land area of more than 800ha; occupancy rate of active industrial clusters reached 87.5%.
