 Director of the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC), said that Ho Chi Minh City will build many logistics centers with a total area of ​​more than 750 hectares. In which, Thu Duc will be the area where many large-scale logistics centers will be gathered in Ho Chi Minh City in the future.

The list of logistics centers that will be built by Ho Chi Minh City includes Cat Lai - Phu Huu - Thu Duc City (area of ​​292ha), Long Binh - Thu Duc City (an area of ​​54ha), Linh Trung - Thu Duc City (area of ​​74ha), Cu Chi - Cu Chi district (area of ​​15ha), Tan Kien - Binh Chanh (area of ​​60ha), Hiep Phuoc - Nha Be district (area of ​​100ha) and Tan Hiep Mon district (area of ​​150ha).

 

From this list, it can be seen that Thu Duc City is the area where many large-scale logistics centers will be gathered in Ho Chi Minh City in the future. 3 logistics centers are planned in Thu Duc City with a scale of up to 420ha, accounting for more than half of the total area of ​​planned logistics centers.

In addition to logistics centers under the scheme, projects with similar functions to logistics centers such as cold storage in Vinh Loc industrial park, e-commerce warehouse in Cu Chi ... are being built by enterprises; High requirements on synchronous transport infrastructure connection, capital, capacity, experience in construction, management and operation of investors...

Logistics is identified by Ho Chi Minh City as a very important industry, having an impact on sustainable and long-term development for economic growth, making positive contributions to production and business activities in the city.
