According to Tan Tao Group (ITA Group), investor of the project, the 4-lane bridge with invested capital of some VND52 billion has a total length of 450 meters and a width of 21 meters.

ITA Group is also developing an entertainment-service-industry community in Long An’s Duc Hoa District with a total area of 1,142 hectares, including Tan Duc Industrial Park (545 hectares), E. City Area (387 hectares), Entertainment Area (107 hectares) and Tan Tao University (103 hectares).

Thai Van Men, general director of ITA, said the inauguration of the bridge would help ITA complete the installation of infrastructure for the entire community by 2012. The capital investment for construction of the infrastructure was some VND5 trillion, he added.

Men told there were some 89 domestic and foreign enterprises registered for operation at Tan Duc Industrial Park in the first phase with total registered capital of over VND2 trillion and some USD110 million.

When the industrial park is fully operational by 2012, it will employ some 10,000 local workers. “We also expect Tan Tao University, which is under construction at this community, to start enrolling students by next September,” said Men.
