Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a decision approving the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan for Luu Binh Industrial Park, Quang Xuong District.

Accordingly, the planning scope belongs to the administrative boundaries of the communes of Quang Binh, Quang Luu, Quang Loc and Quang Nhan (Quang Xuong district).

The boundaries are as follows: The North borders Quang Nhan commune, the South borders Tien Trang commune, the East borders Bac canal and the existing residential area, the West borders Cong Truc industrial cluster and the planned Farmstay tourist area.

The objective of the planning project is to form an industrial park to attract and meet the needs of investors, contributing to the socio-economic development of Quang Xuong district in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general.

Luu Binh Industrial Park is a high-tech industrial park, prioritizing industries such as electronic component assembly, telecommunications, information technology... The expected workforce here is about 29,000 people.

The total planning research area is about 470 hectares, of which the total planning land area for industrial parks is about 444 hectares, including: land for building factories and enterprises; administrative, public - service land; technical infrastructure works; trees; traffic...

Regarding spatial organization, Luu Binh Industrial Park is divided into 03 areas, corresponding to 03 phases: Phase 1 has a scale of over 160 hectares; Phase 2 is about 140 hectares; Phase 3 has a scale of over 140 hectares.

The plan also plans to reserve about 19 hectares for the construction of worker housing and resettlement areas, providing accommodation for about 10,000 people.

In 2024, Thanh Hoa province attracted 105 direct investment projects, including 19 FDI projects with registered capital increasing by more than 25% compared to 2023. By the end of 2023, the province has one economic zone and 8 industrial parks with a total area of ​​over 2,000 hectares.
