The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Kang Byung-goo - General Director of Lotte Global Logistics; Mr. Ahn Byung-gil - Chairman of Korea Maritime Promotion Agency (KOBC); Mr. Bang Sung-bin - Chairman of Busan Bank, and representatives of Departments, Committees and Branches of Vietnam and Korea.

Dong Nai Cold Chain Logistics Center is built on an area of ​​over 5.5 hectares, of which the usable area is over 2.6 hectares, including two areas: cold chain warehouse and regular warehouse. The total investment capital is revealed to be 34 million USD, equivalent to 860 billion VND.

The project started construction in February 2025 and is expected to be operational in May 2026.

With a strategic location in Dong Nai - an area bordering Ho Chi Minh City, close to important seaports and airports - the center is expected to contribute to optimizing domestic transportation and international import and export activities.

In addition, the application of operational and management experience from Lotte Group’s member companies will also help the center become an important logistics hub in the southern region of Vietnam.

This is Lotte Global Logistics’ latest project in the key southern port area. In the coming time, the company will continue to expand its presence in other provinces and cities, including Vinh Long, with a new cold storage project with a capacity of 7,400 pallets in Binh Minh Industrial Park.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee - emphasized: "Dong Nai Cold Chain Logistics Center Project is one of the pioneering FDI projects in the field of logistics in industrial parks in the province. The project is completely consistent with the province’s investment attraction policy, in the context that Dong Nai is shaping its role as a transportation, port and logistics center in the Southern key economic region".

The center is invested in a modern cold storage system, providing a complete One-Stop logistics service, from import and export, storage to transportation. Diverse storage and distribution capacity helps the center meet the needs of preserving all types of goods, from fresh food to high-value products.

In addition, the center also plays a role in supporting Korean small and medium-sized enterprises operating in Vietnam.

Lotte Global Logistics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a member of Lotte Group Korea, providing logistics services from the last mile, One-Stop package service to infrastructure investment.

In Vietnam, Lotte Global Logistics currently operates 5 warehouses in key areas across the country. In the Mekong Delta region alone, the company has operated a cold storage facility in Long Hau Industrial Park (Long An Province) since 2008 with a capacity of 25,000 pallets.
