Adjustment and Supplement of IPs in HCMC

Viipip.com – Dated 2nd Dec 2008, Vietnam PM Nguyen Tan Dung made a decision of adjustment and supplement of industrial parks (IPs) in Ho Chi Minh City, including:

Adjustment and Supplement of IPs in HCMC

- Adjustment on area of Phu Huu IP from 162 ha down to 114 ha;
- Expansion area of 120-ha-Le Minh Xuan and 500-ha-Hiep Phuoc IPs
- Supplement of proposed IPs like Dong Nam IP (283 ha), Bau Dung IP (175 ha), Phuoc Hiep IP (200 ha), Xuan Thoi Thuong IP (300 ha), Vinh Loc 3 IP (200 ha), Le Minh Xuan 2 IP (338 ha), Le Minh Xuan 3 IP (242 ha).
 
Besides, PM Dung also signed a decision on area adjustment of IPs, such as:
 
- Tan Thoi Hiep IP approved by Gov in 02 Jul 1997 from 215.4 ha down to 28 ha;
- Phong Phu IP approved in 31 Jan 2002 from 163.3 ha down to 148.4 ha;
- Cat Lai IP of group II approved in 29 Jan 2003 from 111.6 ha up to 124 ha.
In addition, PM Dung rescinded the decision of 08 Aug, 1997 on establishment and approve of Infrastructure operation and construction investment project of Cat Lat IP (group IV) in HCMC.
