Vietnam is the focus of so much attention worldwide as an attractive investment destination of “China plus one”. The hard-working young labor power with cleverness at hand, stable political environment and good relationship with Japan are some of the features that attract numerous Japanese manufacturers to this land. Northern Vietnam, where Thang Long Industrial Park II (TLIPII) is located, is especially seen as an attractive destination considering its proximity to China. Based on the experiences we have had with Thang Long Industrial Park (TLIP) near Hanoi city, TLIPII was established in November 2006 in Hung Yen Province, also close to Hanoi. Now, over 70 manufacturing companies are under operation in TLIP.
