Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee has just signed and promulgated Decision No. 1675/QD-UBND dated June 19, 2023 approving the list of 137 projects calling for foreign investment in the period of 2023-2025, with orientation to 2030.

Development of industrial zones, clusters and logistics

According to the Vietnam industrial park development plan, Hai Phong approved 137 projects on the list of calling for foreign investment of the city. Hai Phong.

Specifically, in the field of industrial park development, there are 16 IPs on the list of calling for foreign investment, 3 IP projects in Tien Lang district have the largest land use area, including Tien Lang 2 Industrial Park project with a scale of 500-550 ha, Tien Lang Airport Industrial Park with a scale of about 450-550 ha, Tien Lang 1 Industrial Park project with a scale of 407 ha. In Vinh Bao district, there are 3 industrial park projects including Vinh Quang Industrial Park (340-350 ha), An Hoa Industrial Park (200 ha), Giang Bien II Industrial Park (350 ha).

In the field of urban development, Hai Phong approved up to 52 projects in the list of calling for foreign investment. Leading the way is Thuy Nguyen district with 10 projects, of which the largest project is the new urban area project in Thuy Duong and Hoa Binh communes with an area of ​​400 hectares, followed by the Hon Ngoc urban area project (the area north of the Cam River (Hoa Dong commune) with a scale of 120 hectares, also located along the Hon Ngoc river (Thuy Nguyen district), the Hon Ngoc riverside urban area project and the 50 hectares South Hon Ngoc urban area.

In the field of tourism development, Hai Phong has 4 projects in the list of calling for foreign investment, in which, the project to develop tourism with sports and entertainment in Do Son district has a very large scale from 900 to 910 hectares. The project of an eco-tourism area, an urban resort, an experience associated with hot mineral water spots in Khoi Nghia and Quyet Tien communes (Tien Lang district) has a scale of 340 hectares. The remaining two tourism projects are the construction project of an international passenger ship port of the Hai Phong international gateway port complex with an estimated investment of about 20 million USD, the construction investment project of Song Gia lake eco-tourism area (Thuy Nguyen district) with an investment of about 30 million USD.
