  Tien Giang has flat terrain.

   With an advantageous geo-political position, Tien Giang is a gateway to Ho Chi Minh City and other eastern provinces as well as provinces in the Mekong Delta area through its system of 150 kilometers thoroughfares including one expressway, 4 National roads (1A, 30, 50 and 60). In addition the land has a system of fluvial navigation on Tien river, Vam Co Tay river , Soai Rap river and Cho Gao canal and other waterway branches that link Tien Giang with Ho Chi Minh City and provinces in the Mekong Delta. The 32 kilometers coastline of the province makes an exit way to the East sea for provinces on Tien river and Cambodia.

     My Tho Port with convenient location is located on  the Tien River of My Tho Industrial Zone which  total area of ​​44.663m2 with infrastructure including jetty capable of receiving ships of 3000 tons, barge terminals 1000 DWT for loading and unloading containers and inland waterway vessels up to 1000 tons; 2 warehouses of 2196 m2, container yard of 6.780m2, remove the synthesis of 5800m2, 3 cranes for unloading with lifting capacity up to 45 tons.

   Tien Giang has been become an industrial province which is very strong and high growth rate ranks stands for first or second in the region with many industrial parks, industrial clusters such as: My Tho IP, Tan Huong IP, Long Giang IP, Xoai Rap IP... and many industrial clusters with area over 100ha: Tan My Chanh, Binh Duc, An Thanh....

   The industrial projects focused large-scale period 2010-2015: Dong Nam Tan Phuoc IP, Binh Xuan IP, Bac Go Cong IP....
