Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong had a meeting with Mr. Yohei Kurisu, member of the Executive Board, Head of Global Infrastructure Development Department of Sumitomo Corporation (Japan), to learn about investment opportunities to develop a new industrial park in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Yohei Kurisu expressed his gratitude to Vinh Phuc province for always paying attention and creating favorable conditions for Sumitomo Group to invest in developing the infrastructure of Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park. He said that Sumitomo wishes to continue expanding its operations in the locality, and at the same time proposed to survey and invest in a new industrial park with a green and modern development orientation, in line with the trend of attracting high-tech industrial projects.

Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong highly appreciated the development and contributions of Sumitomo Group to Vinh Phuc province. He affirmed that the local government always considers enterprises investing in Vinh Phuc as citizens of the province, and the success of enterprises is also the success of the locality. Therefore, Vinh Phuc has been focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, while giving priority to attracting strategic corporations and enterprises with high added value, ensuring criteria for sustainable development and environmental protection.

The Provincial Party Secretary also stated that Sumitomo’s development strategy is consistent with the province’s investment attraction orientation. Therefore, Vinh Phuc commits to creating all favorable conditions for the Group to survey and implement investment in new green-oriented industrial parks, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.

Sumitomo Corporation of Japan is currently investing in the construction of infrastructure for Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park in Thien Ke and Tam Hop communes, Binh Xuyen district, with an area of ​​213 hectares and a total investment of more than 135 million USD. This industrial park has become a model for infrastructure quality, environment and behavioral culture in industrial parks, attracting many high-tech enterprises to invest.

Sumitomo’s desire to expand investment in Vinh Phuc not only demonstrates the group’s confidence in the local business environment but also opens up great opportunities for the province to continue developing industrial infrastructure in a modern and sustainable direction.
