Binh Dinh has the potential for being an economic centre of the central key economic region. It has attracted many domestic and foreign investors since the establishment of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

 

Many conferences and programs for investment promotion have also been held in recent years, introducing the province’s potential, investment opportunities, and incentive policies. However, there are still shortcomings, badly affecting the investment attraction in Binh Dinh.

 

At present, despite the global economic recession, investors still have many advantages thanks to the Government’s stimulus package, the drop in construction material and manpower, and the slight economic recovery. It’s necessary, therefore, to hold investment promotion programs in Binh Dinh, making a breakthrough in the province’s socio-economic development. This year’s conference is expected to introduce Binh Dinh’s potential, policies, and investment opportunities to investors. If possible, the conference is scheduled to take place in early October in Quy Nhon with the participation of representatives of Central bodies, economic groups, and associations.

 

The conference with the theme “Binh Dinh- an attractive destination for investors” will bring participants the information on the province’s socio-economic situation, industrial zones, Nhon Hoi EZ, projects calling for investment, and incentive policies.

 

 

The preparation for the conference has been carried out in early June for it is one of the province’s top events this year.

 

The Ministry of Planning and Investment and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry were asked to coordinate with Binh Dinh to organize the event. This is also an opportunity to popularize all information about Binh Dinh. Press agencies will be invited to publish news and articles about the province’s potential and incentive policies. Also, the event will be introduced via the province’s websites, aiming to bring the latest news to all areas.

 

The organisation board is now calling on sponsorship from businesses operating in Binh Dinh and nationwide. The sponsorship is expected to bring mutual benefits to both authorities and businesses.

 

 

The investment promotion requires much patience and expenditure. The upcoming investment promotion conference is only one of events to attract more and more investment projects in Binh Dinh.

 

After the conference, we hope there will be some agreements signed. The investment promotion won’t certainly bring the province results as expected at once, but there will be surely positive signs. Currently, the economy is showing recovery and the Government’s stimulus package has also proved effective. The time is ripe for an investment promotion conference taking in Binh Dinh.
