In accordance with the terms of the agreement, Bosch will support the university in organizing educational tours of its production facilities, provide them with internship and apprenticeship opportunities as well as underwrite university research projects.

“The agreement with International University epitomizes Bosch’s continuing commitment to support training and education in Vietnam,” said Vo Quang Hue, Bosch Vietnam managing director

Hue highlighted that as part of the arrangement with the university, Bosch would award educational grants and scholarships to students based on financial need and academic performance.

The agreement represents the culmination of the university’s effort to build stronger links with the business community and provide students with real world practical hands-on experience, said Ho Thanh Phong, president of International University.

The university is looking to team up with forward thinking organizations like Bosch to better enable its lecturers and students to obtain real-life business experiences as part of their tertiary education.

Bosch has operated in Vietnam since 1994 and established its subsidiary, Robert Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. in HCM City during April 2008. Its main office is located in Dong Nai province.
