According to the report of this provincial People’s Committee, VSIP 3 planning area has a planning scale: 1,000 ha, labor scale: 43,000 - 45,000 people.

The North borders DT.746 road and existing residential land in Hoi Nghia ward and Tan Lap commune; The South borders Ring Road 4 according to the planning of Ho Chi Minh City Region; The East borders residential land of Tan Lap commune - Bac Tan Uyen district and the West: borders on rubber land belonging to Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company.

VSIP 3 is a multi-industry concentrated industrial production zone. In particular, priority is given to exploiting high-tech industries, which are invested in modern construction with a system of technical infrastructure and synchronous functional areas.

Through verification, the Economic-Budget Committee found that it is necessary for the Provincial People’s Committee to submit to the Provincial People’s Council for consideration and decision on the Tasks and General Planning Project for construction at the scale of 1/5000 VSIP 3 before the Provincial People’s Committee for approval. in accordance with the authority and order of procedures as prescribed by law, in order to create a legal basis for implementing the next steps such as planning construction subdivisions, detailed construction planning, making investment projects...

At the meeting, delegates of the Provincial People’s Council voted to approve 2 Resolutions of the Provincial People’s Council on the Task of General Construction Planning at the scale of 1/5000 VSIP 3 and the General Construction Planning Project at the rate of 1/5000 VSIP 3.

Previously, in March 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of VSIP III took place with the attendance of the Prime Minister and leaders of central ministries and branches.

This is VSIP’s third project in Binh Duong and the 11th project in Vietnam (Industrial Park Vietnam), with the expectation of making an important contribution, promoting Binh Duong to become the leading province in the country in terms of attracting foreign investment in the first quarter. I-2022 with a total capital of 2.32 billion USD (nearly 5.2 times higher than the same period in 2021).
