Vietnam will provide a roadmap to replace fuels and products using hazardous materials and single-use products (plastics, nylon bags) with environmentally friendly fuels and materials. Use repeatedly, prolong the useful life of the product.
At the same time, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will integrate the circular economy into strategies, master plans and plans for the development of urban centers, industrial parks, export processing zones, thermal power centers... according to the circular model, no waste emissions, emissions and waste water.
Political will to net zero emissions

The VCCI representative made 5 recommendations in the medium and long term to further strengthen cooperation between the State, the Government and businesses in promoting the circular economy.

The third is to focus on building circular economic models in a number of successful industries and fields to serve as a basis for dissemination and replication.
The fourth is to support the approach to public-private partnership investment in order to maximize the resources of stakeholders. Finally, there is the need to invest in improving the capacity and role of business representative organizations.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Roongrote Rangsiyopash, President and CEO of SCG Group, said that the circular economy requires close cooperation between companies, customers, supply chains and stakeholders. participate in the value chain.
He emphasized that Thai businesses are making efforts to cooperate with public - private organizations in Vietnam to implement many projects in this field. "Our goal is to join hands with partners to develop together towards future sustainability. More than that, I believe this will be an important part towards a larger sustainability goal and net zero carbon emissions in the future," he said.
At the beginning of June, the Government approved the Circular Economy Development Scheme in Vietnam to contribute to concretize the target of reducing greenhouse gas emission intensity per GDP by at least 15% by 2030 compared to 2014, towards zero net emissions by 2050.
The project also aims to increase awareness and investment interest of domestic and foreign businesses and investors in the circular economy model. Promote the application of the circular economy model to promote the greening of economic sectors.
