Nhon Trach is the locality with the leading industrial park (IZ) development rate in Dong Nai province with 9/10 industrial parks already in operation. Currently, this is also the district with the most industrial parks in Vietnam.
Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai province) has an area of more than 400 km2, established in 1994 on the basis of separation from the old Long Thanh district. Nhon Trach’s population is about 260,000 people (2020). Compared to other localities of the province, Nhon Trach has a rapid industrial park development rate. Currently, the district has 9 industrial parks in operation and is one of the 2 districts with the most industrial parks in Vietnam. The next top 3 district-level administrative units with many industrial parks are: Tan Thanh (Ba Ria - Vung Tau: 9), Ben Cat (Binh Duong: 8), Ben Luc (Long An: 7). In Ho Chi Minh City, traffic infrastructure in Nhon Trach has recently been invested to match the development orientation. Inter-regional transportation infrastructure projects are being implemented such as Ring Road 3 project, expanding road 25B, road 319 connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, road to Phuoc An port...
