Tay Ninh province, located in transition zone between mountain zone and Middle Highland to Mekong Delta.

Tay Ninh province belongs to the South East border of Vietnam.

Tay Ninh Province borders Cambodia Kingdom in the East and the North, Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc Province in the East, Ho Chi Minh City and Long An Province in the South.

The province has two National border gates: Moc Bai and Xa Mat

- Climate

Tay Ninh’s climate is relative mild.

The average temperature of Tay Ninh is 27,4⁰C, annual light volume is profound. Having full radiation regime, high and stable temperature.

Tay Ninh locates at the inner in the continent, suffers less from the storm and other disadvantageous elements.

The annual average rainfall is 1800 – 2200 mm, the annual average humidity is about at 70 – 80%, the wind speed at 1,7m/s and regularly operates in the year.

Tay Ninh province is affected by two main wind directions: West – Westsouth wind in the rainny season and North – North East wind in the dry season.

The province has two seasons: Rainny season and Dry season.

- Topography

Tay Ninh possesses 998m high Ba Den Mountain, the highest of the South East region of Vietnam. Tay Ninh contains main land groups: grey soil with 338,833ha, stand at 84.13% of the natural area. Topography is flat and convenient for mechanization in agricultural production, suitble for growing all kinds of short - term and long - term industrial trees.

About the economic development, Tay Ninh is one of the important international exchange gate among Vietnam and other neighboring countries such as: Combodia, Thailand … Tay Ninh also plays an important role in the goods exchanging relations among the provinces of the Mekong Delta and the Southern key economic zone provinces.

The industry and handicraft has grown more and more sustainable with some agricultural products manufacturing factories in some specializing areas such as: sugar cane factories, tapioca processing factories, rubber latex processing factories. Main focus of the province is for industrial zones, in which the Trang Bang industrial zone has attracted many domestic and foreign investors. This makes a replacement of economic structure into industry – services – agricuture.

Tourism

Tay Ninh is a Southern key tourism region with many attractive tourism products.

Ba Den Mountain is an interesting place for many tourists on holidays.

Ecological tourism is a potential strength of Tay Ninh. Dau Tieng Reservoir, a nation largest irrigation construction with area 27000ha, capacity more than 1,5 billion cubic meter, contains many islands and peninsulas with beautiful lanscapes. It can be built a perfect ecological tourist site in this area for taking a rest, hunting, fishing and other activities.
